Doctors with Dementia is a group of retired physicians now living with dementia ourselves. We have seen dementia from both sides of the desk—first as doctors, and now as patients.
Our group focuses on using our lived experience to advocate for meaningful change in the medical community. Drawing on both our clinical backgrounds and our personal journeys, we work to improve understanding, promote person-centered care, and reshape how healthcare professionals approach dementia diagnosis, communication, and support.
