Sisters of the Dragonfly
Sisters of the Dragonfly brings together women of various ages and diagnoses who offer one another support, understanding, and connection. As we move through different phases of life with dementia, we lift one another up with compassion and shared experience. Grounded in our backgrounds as dedicated, professional women, we are also committed to advancing advocacy and education for others who can benefit from our experiences.
Together, we also share our voices beyond the group, including through our new video Behind the Mask.
Sisters of the Dragonfly meets on Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. ET.

What does it mean to come out unmasked and unafraid while living with dementia? Sisters of the Dragonfly, a group of women from the National Council of Dementia Minds, share personal reflections on the masks they wear as women living with dementia.

Living with Frontotemporal Dementia
“People living with dementia are often spoken for or about. The National Council of Dementia Minds gives those of us with a diagnosis a platform to speak for ourselves and provides peer-to-peer support I couldn’t find anywhere else.”
