Dining with Dignity: Enhancing the Mealtime Experience for Individuals with Neurocognitive Disorders at the Michigan Assisted Living Association Annual Conference and Dementia Summit

Join us for a powerful session led by individuals living with dementia, where they will share their experiences of the
world around them, with a focus on sensory perceptions during mealtimes. Through their personal insights, you’ll gain a
deeper understanding of how individuals with neurocognitive disorders experience dining. Discover practical, person centered strategies to improve the mealtime experience, create meaningful connections, and support dignity and wellbeing. Together, we can transform mealtimes into enriching moments that nourish both body and spirit for all individuals.

Presenters: Brenda Roberts, MA, Chief Executive Officer, Michigan Assisted Living Association, and a Panel of Persons
