Meeting of the Minds for Persons Living with Dementia or MCI

We are excited to invite you to our Meeting of the Minds series, exclusively for individuals living with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or dementia. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another.

Facilitators: We are thrilled to have our extraordinary volunteers, Joy Spahn and Chris Simon, leading these sessions.

This will be an 8-week Monday series starting at 1:00 PM EST (12:00 PM CST, 11:00 AM MST, 10:00 AM PST).

Meeting Dates, Titles, and Themes:

  1. October 7, 2024 - Inquiring Minds: What is one question you would like to ask another person living with dementia?
  2. October 14, 2024 - Sharing Wisdom: What piece of advice would you give someone newly diagnosed?
  3. October 21, 2024 - Explore Living with A.S.A.P: Attitude, Socialization, Acceptance, Purpose.

  8. November 25, 2024 - A Time for Thankfulness: In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we will explore what we are most thankful for in our lives.
