Doctors Living with Dementia: A view from both sides of the desk

August 11, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EDT

FREE
A group of physician advocates living with a dementia diagnosis is determined to improve how the medical profession interacts with patients facing cognitive change. National Council of Dementia Minds and AARP Michigan have partnered to bring you a Facebook live interview of 5 physicians whose perspectives changed when they were personally diagnosed with a neurocognitive disorder, including Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body, and frontotemporal dementia. They will supply patients and families with information on how to improve physician-patient communication. Come and learn from physicians who are now on the other side of the desk.

Thursday, August 11 at noon to 1:00 p.m. EST (11:00 a.m. CT) (10:00 a.m. MT) (9:00 a.m. PT)

Registration: This event will be presented live on Facebook. A link to join the presentation will be sent to all who register.
