You are invited to join National Council of Dementia Minds along with Joanna Fix for a watch party via Zoom. We are going to watch video clips of the Mrs. Colorado pageant as Joanna shares some of the behind-the-scenes stories about her experience. Joanna competed in the pageant as the first-ever contestant living with dementia. Her platform was “People living with dementia transforming the worldview of Neurocognitive Disorders.” Come celebrate Joanna as the 4th runner-up in the Mrs. Colorado pageant, winner of the People Choice Award, Publicity Award, and for busting the stigma about dementia. This event is available to persons living with dementia and care partners.
