Discover how people living with dementia are transforming the worldview of Neurocognitive Disorders.
Objectives and or Goals:
1. Attendees will identify stigma as it relates to persons living with dementia.
2. Attendees will describe strategies to live well with dementia.
3. Attendees will describe how advocacy and educational activities bring meaning and purpose to the lives of persons living with dementia.
This session will employ a variety of methodologies to engage learners. The most powerful will be the inclusion of persons living with dementia in the presentation and available for Q&A. It will also include PowerPoint, video clips, and discussions.
