This gathering will explore how dementia affects -- and does not affect -- one’s ability to read.

Susan Ostrowski, President of Read2Connect and a speech-language pathologist, will discuss why standard published material can be difficult to decipher.  We’ll explore ways to compensate for reading difficulties.  We’ll discuss people’s personal experiences with reading, and you will be encouraged to share what works for you – or does not work.
